When will my order ship?
I ship orders within 3-5 business days via USPS - if there will be a delay I will message you ahead of time to let you know.
How are the prints packaged?
All items are packaged in branded packaging and shipped in sturdy mailing material to ensure they arrive safely. Our 8x10 prints are shipped flat in a chipboard envelope with backer, and most other prints are rolled in shipping tubes.
I'm ordering internationally, am I going to be charged customs?
Customs charges are not in my control, and I have no way of knowing when or if they will be imposed, or how much they will be - the tax is levied by your country and your country alone. Not every package is taxed, but it is your responsibility to know and pay any import fees, taxes, tariffs, or duties imposed by your country's customs service. Customs clearance procedures can cause delays beyond original delivery-time estimates.
Can I return my print?
I accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of purchase of merchandise in its original condition. Please see the Returns page for full information on the returns process.
Can you gift wrap my order?
At this time I'm unable to offer gift wrapping, however each order is carefully packaged in kraft paper and Wild Wander branded packaging.
Do you offer local pickup in Richmond?
Yes - but please read the following carefully!
1) For local pickup please use the coupon code RICHMOND at checkout to remove the shipping cost.
2) After your order is placed I will contact you via email to schedule a pick up time at my studio at Studio Two Three in Scott's Addition.
*Important Note: Though Studio Two Three is a public studio and you are definitely encouraged to swing by and check out our great shared print space, please do not stop by my private studio without contacting me ahead of time - it is a working studio and not set up for visitors, and my hours vary greatly by day. If you'd like to see the work in person before ordering I encourage you to check out my stockists or come by a craft show.*
My print was rolled and now it's curly! How can I flatten it?
I've found that shipping the prints rolled is the best way to ensure they arrive safely without any bends or creases, but you may need to flatten out the print upon arrival. Simply unroll the print on a flat surface like a desk, and lay heavy books on the ends of the print. The print will flatten on its own within a few hours.
Can you change the size of the print?
Unless otherwise noted on the website, all prints are only available in the sizes listed.
Do you have a store I can visit?
Though I don't have a brick & mortar store, I'm happy to have my products carried by a number of wonderful stockists across the country. I'll be updating the website with a list of all the shops soon.
MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES
Are these reproductions from books?
Though I'm definitely inspired by antiquarian work and Victorian natural history, all of the artwork from The Wild Wander is an original illustration.
What medium do you use?
The majority of my colored work is a combination of watercolor and colored pencil, and linework is done with micron pens.
Can you make me a custom commissioned illustration?
So that I have time to focus on building The Wild Wander line and my editorial portfolio, at this time I'm not available for personal commissioned illustrations.
Do you take freelance projects?
I'm happy to collaborate on custom illustration and lettering for editorial work, chalk lettering installations, and illustrated branding elements - please contact me with your project specifications and I'll be able to provide you with more information.
What are your freelance illustration rates?
It's difficult for me to quote a project without knowing the medium, intended use of the work, and the rights that you need for your project. If you're interested in collaborating on a project, contact me with your ideas for the project, timeline, how the illustration will be used, and your ideal budget (if available), and I'll be able to provide you with a more accurate, personalized quote.
